GTRC Director introduces Secretary of State for Wales, Cheryl Gillian to GTRC Exhibition at Farnborough Airshow Innovation Centre.

Director of the GTRC, Professor Phil Bowen, met Secretary of State for Wales the Right Honourable Cheryl Gillan MP at the recent Farnborough Air Show 2012 and showed her examples of the innovative research being done in the School in the field of aerospace engineering.

The GTRC displayed a model of a gas turbine from GTRC.Mrs Gillan, who described herself as a Welsh export, said: ?It is great to see such a demonstration of Welsh research, technology and manufacturing being exported and having a national and international impact.?
